“The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct.” —Carl Jung

Hello, nice to meet you. If you are visiting this site for the first time, welcome to our mission statement. This first blog post represents an introductory kickoff that foreshadows much of the research, lessons, and collaborative ideas to be shared. We have been working for the past 40+ years bringing play language into the classrooms of mainstream education. From our findings, we have created a collection of testimonial stories and research findings that are very valuable for our contemporary models of learning cultures. Today, we continue to imagine a new face on education, one mirrored in the image of the developing young person. We are currently rallying passionate adults in the communities of our satellite locations around the globe. These people are creating space for youth to lead themselves in their own self discovery and learning modalities! It is time for our learning cultures to become more playful in order to cultivate happy, self-directed learners.
